Unique Fire and Security Ltd

Unique Fire and Security Ltd is a locally owned company that has been in service for over a decade. It holds BAFE registration and SSAIB certification. The company operates across Dorset, Hampshire, Devon, Cornwall and the wider South West, serving homes, businesses and public sector organisations. It designs, installs and maintains fire alarms, CCTV, burglar alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting and access control systems. Its client types include schools, healthcare sites, hospitality venues and multi-site portfolios.

A request for help with a faulty system sets the tone for many accounts of this Plymouth company's work, with the same afternoon attendance by Beth standing out, alongside a detailed note of components to add at the next service. Domestic alarm problems, whether a fault or an alarm sounding without cause, draw praise for how quickly engineers such as Adam and Gareth respond, often on the same day, including one call taken on Christmas Eve. Reviewers describe these visits as professional and helpful, with Gareth resolving a long-running difficulty linking mobile phones back to an alarm system.

Installation work covers CCTV and house alarms, and several accounts mention tidy, competent fitting completed at short notice before a holiday. Servicing brings recurring approval, as engineers check systems over and identify parts needing future attention. The first point of contact, a member of the office team, is also credited for courteous handling before an engineer arrives. Repeat business features in some feedback, one customer having commissioned a third system. Satisfaction rests on prompt, capable support for intruder alarms and wider security installations.
