Armsec UK Limited

I bought a number of Hikvision cameras from this company a little over a year ago and was very happy with the pre-sales advice and service received. Recently, one of the cameras (covered by the manufacturers 5 year warranty) has developed a fault and I've not been able to contact them; their phone system has been broken for several weeks and they have not responded to emails that have been sent over the coarse of about 3 months. The website is still up, but given that user credentials are now needed to get into it and their general lack of contact, I wonder if the company are still trading.

No problems at all. Arrived without damage when it was promised to arrive.

Initially I bought my first camera off ebay. Unfortunately, it broke down just a few days after the return period and because the seller was Chinese, any communication about return was quite awkward. After that negative experience I decided to seek advice, following a recommendation of a friend of mine, and buy my next CCTV from armsec. Talked to Tony and then Ed (twice) over the phone and got really good advice both on the technical side of things as well as some tips on the installation. Got everything delivered and installed over the weekened. My only negative comment, which is obviously in no way a reflection of my experience with armsec, but why are hiokvision cameras so not user friendly. Without Ed's extensive step-by-step I would never have been able to set up the Hikconnect thingy... Thanks Guys!

Forget fuzzy old black & white IR in HD, these are stunning value. Bought 3 and was amazed at the low light colour quality and in 2k (at 25FPS) which is twice as sharp as 1920x1080 HD. They have just brought out a 4K version but it is only 20FPS.

Excellent technical support service! I still don't understand why Hikvision made the set-up process so needlessly complex - but thanks guys for guiding me though it!
