Alarm Systems Greater Midlands Ltd.

Alarm Systems Greater Midlands Ltd is an independent installer of burglar alarms in the West Midlands. The company has been protecting homes and businesses since 1977 and has been in business for over 49 years. It holds NSI NACOSS Gold approval and its installations comply with ACPO Policy, BS8243:2010, and BS EN 50131 / PD6662 requirements.

The managing director, Ray Craig, started fitting alarms in 1967. The company works with commercial and residential customers and has a dedicated 24-hour Alarm Receiving Centre partner for monitoring burglar alarms. It keeps its engineers up to date with training courses.

Commercial sites across Birmingham have depended on this team for years, and reviewers repeatedly highlight enduring relationships that span fire alarm, life safety and security system projects. One account covers more than three years of testing, inspection, breakdown call-outs and installation work, while another notes that CCTV, intruder and fire detection equipment has been maintained for roughly four years, beginning with an initial installation at a branch opening.

The advice and expertise of Ray feature often, with several reviews describing him as knowledgeable, kind and honest, talking a customer through a fault and fixing it with a replacement battery instead of charging for unnecessary work. Engineer Paul is named for a service visit carried out punctually and politely, with clear explanations along the way. A recurring theme is the professionalism of the wider team, including office staff, alongside courteous and helpful conduct. Customers also appreciate being able to return for further work as needs evolve, such as adding fire alarm provision after earlier installations, and the same dependable support is noted across repeat visits.
