Safeguard Systems - Reading

Safeguard Systems is a Reading-based provider of CCTV and alarm installation services. The company has over 30 years of experience protecting UK businesses and holds accreditations including SSAIB, SafeContractor and DBS. It serves Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire, and has helped over 200 companies secure their premises. Its team comprises solution design specialists, experienced project managers, and security system installers.

Key services include commercial CCTV, access control, door entry and perimeter security. Safeguard Systems provides security solutions for sectors including renewable energy, critical infrastructure, industrial, education, retail, government, agricultural and commercial. It offers a free site survey and quote and follows a 6-stage process from initial contact to ongoing support.

Warehouse units, GP surgeries, hair salons and rural sites with outbuildings feature among the projects customers describe, and the feedback from those jobs is consistently warm. Several reviewers highlight the same strengths: a willingness to attend in person for a proper survey rather than quoting over the phone, a professional quotation issued quickly, and installation dates that were met without fuss.

Communication comes up repeatedly, both before work began and afterwards, with aftercare and patient handover sessions noted as genuine positives. Reviewers also mention the care taken to source suitable equipment at a fair price, the tidiness and competence of the engineers, and the friendly manner of the team, with Dan singled out by name for his dedicated and pleasant approach when servicing a system. Paxton equipment and video entry systems are referenced specifically, as are upgrades following attempted break-ins.

The recurring theme is reliability combined with clear advice, and the standard of the finished installation is described as matching what was promised. Attention to detail during design and build projects is another point that comes up often, alongside flexibility when plans shifted on site. Door entry systems, intruder alarms and CCTV installations all attract praise, and post-installation support, including help with programming key fobs, rounds off the picture.
