This cctv place is a joke. Half of the time there not available half of time the shop is closed. And half of the time the lady there is sitting there has a unbothered look about herself. The shops seems like it’s got potential in terms of the things they sell. But if the customer service is poor then what’s the point of opening a shop. Maybe if you provided the service as well as promoting your products the shop would do ok and you would get more customers.
Really friendly and helpful owner. Great range of products. Gives advice uf you're doing it yourself. Prices decent compared to the Internet. Will return for other items as my experience was a positive one.
Initially I called this place. It appealed to me because it used the name cctv for professionals. Shop also looked nice. Website appeared nice and lady ‘syma’ or ‘simran’ was very pleasant. More on the different names below. She wanted money cash because her machine was ‘broken’. I didn’t think anything of that at the time but later realised it was just so that she avoids tax. Now this is what happened. She actually overcharged me but I did not know because my house had ybeen burgled so I was distressed and wanted the best cameras including ptz camera asap. She also did not plan the date to install the cameras. Instead she sends people unannounced without confirming if you are home. Total lack of communication and then blames you for not being home when she is supposed to confirm if you are there or not. The planning, foresight and lack of communication is terrible. The workers that install them are paid money in cash rather than being on a payroll and work for her in the shop at the till aswell. One of them (European man) was on the phone to the benefit company whilst at my house saying he was too unwell to work and too unwell to come to his benefit interview. This is a red flag that these are not registered electrical engineers doing the installation. She uses unqualified people who ruin your home. The Asian Indian ‘engineer’ man was the rudest person I have ever met. He complained that it was taking long for him to install the cameras when I had clearly told Syma I wanted wired under floorboards rather than outside my building due to risk of external wires being cut. It is their job to do it because that is what I had paid them for. However all I heard was complaining, hate faces, anger. In the end I was helping them hold wires and pull the wires to stop their complaining but I should not have to do that. Like I said they are not registered electrical engineers. The European man knows nothing about drilling safely. The European man drilled through my lintel and damaged it when there was no need to drill that way making my wall and door support unsafe: I was left with a hole in my wall that he then refused to fix. Inside the house the European man used a big drill bit for bricks and then my Victorian ceiling broke. The European man also nailed a water pipe whilst putting floorboard back. This later leaked and damaged my house and ceiling fell through which needed re-plastering. I was left with a damaged house, insulted by the workers, and the cctv was not installed fully. I still gave the company benefit of the doubt as I thought the lady is nice and her workers are at fault. She wanted more money to complete it because ‘her workers are paid a day rate and job is taking longer’. I paid her more money thinking she was good person and she promised me she would send someone else not moody or incompetent to finish job and correct the damage but instead she took more money and never finished job. Wires are hanging loose from the main recorder, PTZ camera faulty and making horrible noise that is more than normal. Neighbours and everyone on street complaining. I went to her office, called her and she started ignoring me and fobbing me off. No warranty or product leaflets were left. I don’t even know if her products are genuine. I then searched her on company house. She told me her name was simran and people call her syma for short. However on companies house her name is Syma Ahmed. She lied about her name to just pretend she was Sikh to make me trust her. A true Sikh would not scam someone in this way. I then realised her company accounts show hardly any money (10k) but that’s because she takes money in cash. Then I saw reviews where her workers have ruined other peoples houses, targeted rich houses after putting cameras in to steal from them. A lot of the negative reviews got removed and she asked people to do positive reviews but it’s all a scam. In summary avoid, go somewhere else. Just after money rather than doing a good job or coming back to fix problems. No customer service.
Popped in to enquire about a hidden camera, not to spy, but catch someone out, gentleman was really helpful and honest 👌 no hard selling, went through options and systems they attach too. I needed something basic, would highly recommend for home and car. Will be returning to have camera installed in car
Brilliant customer service from everyone at the CCTV shop. We were looking to have 2 systems installed, one for myself and the other for a family member. Simmy the manager is a lovely lady and was very pleasant. Danny the engineer also a lovely guy to deal with. We had a variety of individual offers to choose from to best meet our needs and the installation process was explained clearly. Extremely happy with the work carried out by Danny, great engineer, very professional . Thanks so much guys for completing the job so quickly.
Few months back had cctv fitted at home was very happy how the staff helped me choose one for my needs and budget very satisfied and the fitting was professional and efficient which was done by the engineer Dan highly recommend his work and advice thank you and will highly recommend to other customers .
