Repton Security Ltd

Repton Security Ltd is a private security company that holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) accreditation for Security Guarding and Keyholding. It achieved ACS accreditation in 2009 and renews it each year. The company serves Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Loughborough, Staffordshire and Burton. Its customers range from large public and private sector organisations to SMEs and domestic clients. Repton Security Ltd operates an escalation structure replicating the police service model: Prevent and deter; Observe; Identify; Escalate; Support; Resolve and Report. It uses standard processes for risk assessment and implementation of site instructions.

The company undertakes regular customer liaison meetings with all its regular customers. It seeks client feedback after every job and runs an annual customer service satisfaction survey with regular clients. Private investigation services are provided by ex-police officers. 80% of its vehicle fleet is electric or hybrid, and its head office power source is solar energy. Services include security guarding, door supervision, keyholding, alarm response, mobile patrols, CCTV monitoring, event security, drug and alcohol testing, private investigation, and vetting and screening.

Key holding and alarm response form the core of what Repton Security Ltd provides across Derby, with out-of-hours support and opening and closing of premises featuring regularly in feedback. A theme running through the feedback is the reliability of the operatives, who are described as punctual, professional and willing to go further than expected, whether responding to alarm activations or attending at short notice. Reviewers repeatedly mention the quality of communication, with prompt answers to questions and written reports produced quickly after each call-out.

More than one customer describes the team as friendly and accommodating, singling out Chris for particular praise, alongside colleagues who are said to be equally helpful. The work extends to site security, traffic direction during busy periods, overnight patrols and sanitisation following a clean-up, all handled without fuss. Long-standing clients, including a multi-academy trust and a surveying firm, write of years of dependable service, meticulous attention to safety protocols and the reassurance of knowing someone is available at any hour. Peace of mind is the theme that runs through nearly every account, with the consistent professionalism of the staff cited as the reason relationships have lasted so long.
