However, unfortunately in order to be balanced, I feel the need to update my rating to reflect the service I’ve received from SafeVue in the months after our installation. We began to experience issues with our setup within the first year of installation - some cameras kept going offline, others wouldn’t work at all and the intercoms were intermittently working. We had also asked for a camera to be moved locations due to renovating our driveway - we were happy to pay for this. After literally 8-9 months of many promises to come to our house to fix the issues, Andy never returned and on many occasions ignored my messages. As a result I’ve had to bring in another company to fix the issues - it took less than 3hrs for the other company to fix everything. So, sadly although our installation experience was very good, the support we’ve experienced afterwards has been dreadful. As a result I can no longer recommend SafeVue to others, which is a shame. The original review is below…. After posting online about the need for a company who could fit Gate Access, CCTV and a Home Alarm system, Andy called me right away and offered to visit that evening. Within 2 hours Andy had arrived and bought a suite of products to show me and we discussed my needs, which was fantastic as it allowed me to see what the products looked like and how they could work for us. From the minute he arrived it was clear that not only is Andy very knowledgable, he was enthusiastic and passionate about getting it right for his customers. An hour after he left, I received a written quote via email which aligned precisely with what we'd discussed. I spoke with a few other Home Security companies the following day, but neither impressed me nor gave me as much confidence as Andy did. Although SafeVue weren't the cheapest, it was clear that they would deliver the best solution as we wanted the install to be done properly, not cheaply - Their price represented good value for money. (One company never even bothered to give me a quote!) Andy agreed an approximate start date for the following week and in plenty of time confirmed the exact date, which happened to be a day sooner than we'd initially thought which was great. They arrived bang on time. On the first day of install, Andy and his team, who were equally friendly and helpful, got to work and didn't hang around in installing 7 cameras and the DVR box in a day, which included digging trenches to our 2 sets of gates to hide what must've been hundreds of meters in cables in total. It was important to me that we didn't have cables visible and the guys did a great job of hiding them, fishing the cables through the eaves, across the loft and into a storage cupboard so everything is totally out of site but easily accessible. The following day we needed further trenches dug to get cables to other buildings on the site and the team were exceptional and even helped us dig the trench deeper to enable us to run water pipes to the buildings too, which was a job we were going to have to do ourselves otherwise. Nothing is too much trouble and it's clear that Andy wants everything done perfectly, even if it costs him a little more, which is fantastic as a customer. We added and changed locations of cameras throughout the installation and this was handled effortlessly by the SafeVue team. It's rare to come across a company who stick to their word, go above and beyond what's needed and are happy to do whatever it takes to please you, but SafeVue have done that and I would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking for CCTV, Alarm Systems, Networking, Access Control etc. Thanks guys

Excellent service, advice and knowledge by Andy. I came accros his business at Southampton boat show. He knows his equipment. Never been a better example for buying from a professional rather than from the internet! You get competitive price with the service. I even received some help on a week end!

I am not one to write reviews… as getting five stars is very hard to get in my eyes. However I could not fault the company! I was recommended to contact Andy from Hikvision themselves. Which is very rare for a brand to provide details of a company. As you can imagine thousands of installers they have registered with them. My concern was that Andy is based in Portsmouth and me in London. I thought he would not take the job on. However he provided all the cameras which were delivered, setting everything up remotely and was always on the other end of the phone when needed. I would highly recommend Andy and SafeVu as you are in safe hands. Thank you once again

Excellent service From start to finish we were introduced to this company at Southampton International boat show wow what can I say we live in Newton Abbot they have drove three hours each way to get to us and done an amazing job at installing the system we now feel that these are our friends and able to call them 24 hours a day thank you very much Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend

Fantastic service from Andy, we had our system fitted 2 years ago and one of our cameras had started playing up, we called him on Friday he came straight out that evening found out the camera had gone faulty ordered a new camera under warranty and was back round Sunday afternoon to fit and fix. Could not and would not recommended anyone else
