Arrest Fire & Security Ltd

Arrest Fire & Security Ltd was established in early 1999. The company works throughout Glasgow and surrounding areas. It has been installing fire safety and security systems throughout Scotland since 1999. The company employs a dedicated fire safety team.

It has worked with clients ranging from domestic properties to large commercial industry. All work is carried out to BAFE SP203 standards. The company offers a free site survey. Fire safety services include fire detection and alarm systems, fire risk assessments, fire extinguishers, dry riser systems, and staff fire training.

Glasgow installs by Arrest Fire & Security Ltd draw a sharp contrast between the technical work and the handling of later problems. The engineering side is repeatedly described as knowledgeable and helpful, and the office team as friendly and professional in manner, with one customer calling the whole experience a pleasure to work with and another expressing confidence in the standard of the original fitting. Troubles generally surface after completion. Accounts describe a camera system fault that was not put right, a request for a maintenance quote that went unanswered, and an engineer booked for a door entry system being pulled from the visit the day before, apparently because a more pressing job had come in.

Craig Stewart is named in connection with returns handling, and a further account raises doubts about straightforwardness. Another describes approaching the small claims court after a sales representative had moved on and no resolution was forthcoming. A recurring theme across these accounts is that the difficulty lies not in the initial installation itself but in the follow-up, where communication stops and accountability becomes hard to establish, leaving customers to pursue remedies largely on their own initiative.
