Amco Security Ltd

AMCO Security Ltd is a family-owned company founded in 1995 by Les Quigley, an ex-RAF entrepreneur. It has been operating for over 25 years. The company specialises in insurance-compliant monitored security systems, which include SSAIB certificates of conformity. It provides two alarm maintenance checks per year.

AMCO Security operates across the UK with engineers in major urban centres. Its engineering team can take over, support, and upgrade old alarm systems. It partners with Texecom, a UK security equipment manufacturer. Services include monitored alarm systems and monitored CCTV.

Security system servicing and maintenance for alarms, CCTV and smoke detection form the core of the work that customers describe, with reviewers repeatedly highlighting the engineers who carry it out by name. Faisal emerges as a recurring figure, credited with repairing faulty CCTV, restoring alarms and cameras to working order, and staying late to finish the job. Aaron is mentioned for attending as arranged, replacing a battery and talking through options, while Phil is remembered for sorting a long-standing system issue quickly, and Lewis for a prompt, courteous emergency call-out.

Punctuality and clear explanation are praised time and again: engineers arrive when promised, talk customers through each stage, and confirm that everything is in good order before signing off. Reviewers describe the team as polite, knowledgeable and efficient during servicing and battery changes. Asia is named for arranging an emergency appointment at short notice. The wider service relationship is noted, with one long-standing customer remarking on more than two decades of few problems and the constructive resolution of concerns after contact from a manager. The same engineer attending regularly so that the system is well understood is a detail that recurs across accounts of routine maintenance.
