4.2 / 5 · 5 totalA friend crashed into one of my driveway gates, breaking the unit arm and knocking out the alignment of the arm with the (FAAC) motor / operating equipment. 2 organisations, who did not come to my home, said that I would need a new (slave) unit and arm, complete, but wanted a call-out fee (1 of £174 and 1 of £152) before they would even quote for the work (even though they must know what a unit costs and, at least approximately, how long it would take to replace etc.) and wouldn't even refund part of the call-out fee that, supposedly, also covered an hour of labour. Sharp practice, I believe. A third company visited my home, WITHOUT a call-out fee, and even though they also said a new unit and arm were needed they gave a quote without trying to extort £150+ extra. However, Site Services were willing to attempt a repair, again, without trying to extort extra money, and successfully carried out the repair a couple of days ago. My thanks to Kristian for restoring some faith in the trades and to Connor for carrying out the work. I will not be looking far when I need work done in the future and when it's time to replace the gates in the not-too-distant future. Thank you.

Don't bother with other gate installers, these guys are the best. Pre and post services, installed by knowledgeable and courteous staff.
