AVOID AVOID AVOID. Recently fitted a Teckentrup section door, just over a week ago. During the installation the door broke, where the cable pulley mounts to the frame its completely detached, this is due to a missing bracket which was never installed. They continued to "finish" the install, and did not notify me of the damaged parts. I contacted the manufacturer who recommended a third party to come and look at the install. During this inspection a number of issues were highlighted. The bottom line is that the whole door needs to be replaced as it is incorrect and the installation is unsafe. In addition to the broken pulley mount, the door is not fitted level or true in the frame which has scratched the door face, there are multiple missing parts, the framework is bent and it has been hung from 11mm OSB, not the ceiling joists! Have contacted them to request a refund but recieved no response after 4 days.

Completely useless. 4 phone calls asking for a quote over two weeks. 4 nice people telling me I need the service department but they are busy and will call me back. Zero call backs.

A recent + 8 year old Secureoglide motorised shutter door repair and manual override system was successfully and promptly carried out by expert & confident techs Naylor and Sam, who were friendly helpful and effective. They seemed to know their stuff in their sleep, as did the backroom staff at Access Security who advised, assisted, and accommodated this job throughout the whole repair. I cannot recommend this outfit any higher they are definitely Pro Plus from my experience and previous reviews. Support local business.

UPDATE: they've since replaced the damaged curtain. It's a shame it took this review, and more back and forth offline to get there but I'm pleased they came good in the end. Original review: Absolute rubbish. I had a new high security garage door installed. It blew off the wall in the first month and had to be replaced and refitted (this time I specified the fixings). One day recently a rivet on the curtain roller failed which meant the curtain door got all scratched and damaged. The rivet (pennies) was covered under the warranty but not the damaged curtain or the labour, and quoted £1000 to replace the curtain. Less than 3 years old and it looks awful. Will almost certainly need replacing entirely at my expense in no time.

I met these guys and girls at the British motor show in Farnborough. I explained to the team that was there what I already had and what I needed to do as my dad has a recent operation after having and Anyrism he was unable to lift the up and over door that was already in place. I had been in contact with other companies before hand and was getting mixed messages where it was feasible to fit a motor to the existing door and the prices varied so much. When I first spoke to the team, they explained to me yes it is freezable to do but images of the garage would be the first point so they could see what they needed to work with. Once I was all agreed it was 100% possible have the motor fitted to the existing door all I had to do was pay 50% deposit so that the parts could be ordered and the rest of the 50% of the bill settled once everything was installed and we were happy. With in the week I had communication from the office saying that parts were all in and they would like to get the equipment installed. This has now given back my dad his own sense of independence again, I just cannot highly recommend this company. From the office staff, to the fitters 10 out of 10 customer service. A big thank you once again!!!!!!!
