James & Megan did a fantastic job installing 100m+ of CAT6 infrastructure throughout my property; running 6 routes of cabling into various rooms via the loft; including navigating tricky cable runs underneath existing cladding to give hardwired access to my home office. Additionally they deployed UniFi equipment throughout the property and terminated all the cabling into my server rack. Expertly done ! No hesitation to recommend MKL to anyone considering writing CAT6 into their properties.

James was great to have around. Most helpful and really improved my satellite reception. Clearly very knowledgeable. Called him on Tuesday and he visited on Wednesday. Terrific.

Simply put, a 5 star extremely professional company where you get their experience taking care to avoid later possible problems with my TV installation by doing it right the first time. I particularly like the communication on when and what is going to happen even before the installation started which meant it settled any last minute questions or issues. They kept to the price, arrived on time, and kept to their quoted expected timescale with no mess - but they cleaned up anyway! I have mobility issues and I was not able to assist with the installation at all, but I need not have worried - they handled everything, including moving stuff like couch out of the way, and re adjusting furniture afterwards. Reflecting on the installation as a whole, maybe I should have created a few more questions about the first time operation of the new TV before they left - i.e. not just some questions that occurred to me after the installation, but there again I was paying them for the wall installation of the TV and not for expected advice from the shop that sold it to me. Overall, they were very polite, helpful, answered questions (even my uninformed and possibly daft ones) and they had an overall attitude of 'we know what we're doing' - and they did. A simple example is they came with spare equipment that is associated with connecting up to a new 2026 TV, as my old leads would not be compatible. I have had previous experience of companies having to come back after a day or two with either the right part or a missing item. They didn't rush but worked at a steady pace taking care to avoid damage or any mistakes or disasters that might well occur to someone doing an adjustable TV wall mount for the first time. Would I use them again or recommend them? Certainly. No qualms about recommending MKL Cable Solutions at all. July 2026

From our initial ‘plea’ via social media requesting recommendations for a tradesperson who could help us fix the disaster of work previously carried out in our home by a very well known national company, MKL Cable Solutions came to our rescue! They promptly reached out to us and arranged to come and see us only 2 days later. From the moment we met James we knew we was in safe hands due to his obvious knowledge and clear understanding of what we required. Within seconds he knew exactly what had gone wrong due to the sheer incompetence of the incorrect installation of our brand new 65” TV on a wall in our lounge of our new build home that we had just moved into 6 weeks previously. Our brand new tv ended up a smashed mess on the floor after crashing off the wall leaving a gaping hole taking plaster and plasterboard with it along with damaging our tv unit below in the process! He explained everything fully and clearly and ensured he understood what we wanted as the end result. He helped turn a poor and unprofessional experience into a positive one! He provided a detailed quote and report which made the original installer admit full liability which was not originally forthcoming! The work carried out by James and his colleague Megan was exemplary from start to finish. Both 100% professional and friendly all in one! We are delighted with the end result and it has surpassed our expectations. We would highly recommend MKL and will use them for future work.
