LanGuard Alarms is a family owned security company that was formed in 1984 by Andy and Hilary Lang. Andy Lang is a consultant and Hilary Lang is a Director; both started the company together in 1984. Ross Lang is Managing Director, Helen Lang is Chief Operations Officer, Sandra Groves is Credit Controller with over 30 years' experience, Rosemary Muir is an Administrator, and David Cocker is Service Manager, joining in September 2025. The company has served the Sussex area for over 30 years and operates with over 40 years of experience within the security industry.

It is based in Brighton and covers the whole of Sussex including Burgess Hill, Eastbourne, Haywards Heath and Worthing. LanGuard Alarms supplies, installs and maintains intruder alarms, fire alarms, access controls and CCTV systems.

It is listed on the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) as certificated and approved installers, conforms to BS EN 50131/PD 6662 for Intruder Alarms, NCP 104/BS EN 50132-7 for CCTV and NCP 109/BS EN 50133 for Access Control, and holds UKAS Product Certification to engineering standards and UKAS Approval for BS EN ISO 9001 with NSI via their NACOSS Silver Scheme. The company is recognised by Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire police forces and by all insurance companies. All staff are thoroughly vetted to BS 7858. LanGuard Alarms is a long-standing sponsor of The Albion and Sussex CCC and is involved with the AMEX stadium, home of The Albion.
