We inherited the system from previous home owner so now pay the annual fee etc. It's the most antiquated difficult to use system that breaks constantly and then to get someone to fix it they charge 150 quid call out fee every time (even when it was due to a system upgrade their end). We have just resigned ourselves for it to be non operational now and hope we don't get burgled. It's terrible.

I just called SDS today to talk through the resetting of a friends alarm. I spoke to Anna (not an automated message) and she was absolutely brilliant. With her 26 years of experience, in a 6 second phone call, she was able to talk me through getting the system reset and back to working order!- amazing knowledge and customer care and ask for her if you need alarm advice in the future (unless of course, I’ve stolen her first!)- Lorna

This company completely scammed us. We inherited the system when we bought the house which we have never activated or used. We asked them to deactivate the alarm since we weren't going to subscribe. They told us it would cost £250 to deactivate it which we thought was ridiculous so we left it. Then at 9pm on a Sunday night the alarm went off! We had to pay £336 for someone to come and spend 6 minutes snipping a wire or something. This felt like a tactic the company uses to try to get people to subscribe to their services. I will be reporting this to companies house as well as other relevant governing bodies and posting here to give others fair warning. I am so angry and frustrated by this and people should be aware of this company’s practices.

We had a problem where our CCTV was stolen and we needed a bit of a bespoke solution to help prevent this from happening in the future. When I spoke to the company initially they were rather unhelpful and not really interested in looking at the specifics of our particular situation. I initially gave them a poor review which then triggered a far more helpful response from the company. Our new CCTV is now installed and is lot more secure thanks to the cooperative nature of the people involved.

SDS SECURITY, part of SPY ALARMS. Took half a dozen quotes from various security firms and I found SDS SECURITY value for money because their quote was of neither cheapest nor dearest. The system they installed was in line with what e needed in our property. Communication from the company very excellent. All my e-mails were answered promptly by various members of staff. Few of the staff members are namely Debi Middleton, Mellisa, Lucy VanAckerman, Anna Mcateer, Ola Worowska Aileen Thomas. Surveyor who came for the quote Nick Nazroo exlained the Intruder Alarm system fully and finally the Engineer Michal Klimaszewski installed our Intruder Burglar Alarm and he was friendly, co-operative and did tidy work. I have no hesitation in recommending this form. In my opinion one of the best in South London. RASIKLAL
