I requested a quote from Steve. He gave really good advice and no pressure to buy. His quote was reasonable. I have had the job completed. His work is very thorough and done to a high level. The alarm system he fitted is well made and looks good in the hallway also. I would highly recommend him.

We had our alarm system fitted yesterday by Steve at Protec Security. From the first time we made contact for the quotation, to the installation, Steve was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and transparent with pricing, including his recommendations of what we needed and didn't need. Steve does not push any part of the product on you and makes you feel very comfortable having him in your home, which for me is very important. Steve offers a fantastic quality system at an affordable price. He did not leave a spec of mess in the house on installation either! We live about 15 miles outside of Cardiff. I asked Steve for a quote and he was happy to travel to us. Steve was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer any queries. He gave his opinion on the minimum he believed we needed to ensure our house was secure. I was impressed as he didn't hard sell or try and sell us anything extra, he just gave us a list of options for us to decide the level of security we wanted. He also kept his word and didn't contact us or chase up the quote, which allowed us time to consider without pressure. Once we decided, I contacted him and asked him to fit the alarm and he was very accommodating, even offering a weekend as we both work. We are really happy with the alarm system and it gives us peace of mind when we leave the house. Steve showed us how to work the alarm and even gave us his own typed instructions which explained the how to operate the alarm in a clear and concise way. He explained that should we need anything else, not to hesitate to contact him. The work was a really high standard, he hoovered any mess made and even painted the cable trunking to match our wall colour. These little touches did not go unnoticed! Can't fault Steve's work. I was given an honest explanation of both what I needed and what I didn't. The alarm was fitted with no mess and I was given a full explanation (and printout) explaining how to use the system. It was tested fully to make sure it worked which included Steve crawling up the stairs! Would recommend.

I contacted Steve as we required our existing alarm system to be serviced and to modify the existing system. Steve attended my property without delay, worked out a good solution to meet our requirements and provided a quotation. As we were due to go on holiday within a fortnight of meeting Steve, he rearranged his diary to ensure the work was completed prior to our departure. Steve completed the work quickly, he did not leave any mess and modified the system exactly to our needs.
