contacted Gino to take over maintenance of an existing alarm system . he responded quickly and came and assessed the system, serviced it all at a good price. now have cover as well for any emergencies . thanks.

Gino was great. The initial survey and quoted was done quickly and with no pressure to “BUY NOW”. Once agreed Gino installed and tested the whole system within a morning, and gave us very clear instructions on how to use it. No mess, no fuss!! Thanks for the GREAT service!

I was very happy with Hunters Alarm service. The installation was efficient and the explanation was clearly given and easy to understand. I feel reassured with the after service and am very glad Hunters Alarm was recommended to me.

Gino arrived on time and did a first class installation and training. The connection to the router was not straight forwards but Gino was able to install the cable with the minimum disturbance. If you were looking for an alarm system then I can highly recommend Gino.

Total rip off! Check up front what Gino will charge and get a full breakdown, "IN WRITING". Do not trust what he tells you on the phone. He said on the phone that a full service will be done for £95 which was part of a call out. I had sent him the photos of the faults on Whatsapp in advance and he did not comment that he will charge extra to rectify these faults. However, I later found out after he started the work that the £95 was just for him to attend (ie a call out fee) and a full service then would cost more!! He checked the errors, cleared two errors on the panel and said that the external sounder battery needed changing and would cost £70. I had no choice but to get this done as he was going to charge the £95 regardless. So total cost of a total of15 minute job was £165. He did NOT service the alarm system as he wanted more money to do that. I later found out that the batteries that he replaced would cost £20 for the pair from Amazon, so in effect he charged £50 labour to change the batteries. No doubt, he would get these cheaper from his suppliers. I asked him to check the batteries that he removed and he found that they both had a charge left (3V & 2.6V) so it appears that they did not need changing after all. Note that several competitors on Checkatrade will charge from £95 plus VAT (£114) for a FULL service and charge for batteries only if required if required. Please learn from my mistakes. Do NOT trust this man and if you wish to go with him, then get a full quote in writing first.
