FGH Security - Manchester Office

During the 2026 Manchester marathon in the area around the finish line/med tent, asked 7 different members of FGH security staff and got sent in 7 different directions, I wouldn’t have minded if they where honest that the wasn’t sure where it was but sending me in the wrong/opposite direction while a loved one was very ill in the med tent, from experience the med tent is a key location that staff should be aware of the location

I regularly visit the Garratt Princess street Manchester and the security guard Jordan is on the doors. I would like to commend Jordan as he is the most friendly and welcoming person I’ve met. I am a young female student and often go drinking with my fellow young female student friends and Jordan consistently makes us feel safe and comfortable within the premises. I and many others feel we can approach Jordan with any issues we have and they will be dealt with immediately. He is amazing and should be praised for his brilliant work securing the safety of the bar.

Fgh Security provides security services across sectors. As a customer of a well known restaurant/bar in the area of Manchester I experienced the rudeness and lack of training of one of their door security supervisors. The door security supervisor was lacking of training to distinguish a person drunk, intoxicated or dizzy from nicotine effect. I am sure this type of job is difficult but especially when a place is no crowded a misjudgement is even more important. The overall meaning is that through my experience a customer of fgh security services must consider: a) the potential of misjudgement from fgh security personnel in really critical situations, b) reputations damage of their customers (if they care about them) and their venue. The company claims that “security is often the first and last people that customers interact with, so that experience needs to be positive, even when our team may be enforcing the house rules and policies” but unfortunately my experience was far from positive.

We work at alot of music festivals and events nationwide and FGH are always the most professional, kindest and helpful security staff we work with. It’s always a real pleasure to know FGH are on site
